Reproduction As Means of Revenge
Often times one might ask themselves why was I put here? Why was I born? I present to you a pessimistic, yet sound argument. As we all know, our parents put us through a lot of shit (because they love us). Their need to have offspring in the first place is to have an outlet to pass on the shit that their parents put on them, a distribution of generations of guilt, discipline and confusion if you will. This is a mini-manifestation of history repeating itself, and a perfect example of how people "become their parents".
If one was to think logically and not act upon emotional impulse, this vicious cycle would cease and so would their family to come. This is another supporting point of the decline of civilization, that if we were to actually think reasonably, that we would find ourselves to be walking contradictions. So why have we been trying to improve the quality of life? Why can't we accept our flaws and live with them? Of course by now you think this short writing was induced by mind-altering drugs, but it is simply a viewpoint that most people do not think about. An opinion that can open more doors in your brain. Do you care? Should I? |
