one of our many senses the other day i was in my ride with the hefster siting out front of a pistol grip, one man army show at the trobadour. with nothing but our thoughts rambling to each other, driving us to insanity, i stumbled on a bit of info i'd like to share. if anyone would feel free to comment and tell me to shut the fuck up go right ahead. But let me make my point thats why i have a voice. noticing some parking meters ahead of me and asking myself why chicks always ask if they look fat (dont ask me, remember i said insanity) made me think of how we as humans ,my self mainly, are really lazy when it comes to our senses. literally. most humans and in particular americans (anyone brought up in america post world war 2). whats our number one primary sense that we as the mammals, we call humans, use? if you guessed sight your right. if you pick up any science book or book on animals you find somewhere that our eyes, those of who can use them thankfully, are lenses to the world. they help us "hunt" and "look for food", not to mention they are used for "defense." But take a look out side we no longer need to hunt. i step outside and down the street, which i can see over some houses(so what if i live in suburbia), is a big red and yellow mcdonanlds arc. whats there to look for or hunt in that. nothing. its given to me on a plastic tray. my point being, those elite offials trying to inact a new militaristic world order are doing a damn good job of distracting the americasn people affecting everyone in this world. We so easily objectify with sight that we dont pay attention or use our other senses to experience the world. if you ever watch a cat out in the wild you'll see it sniff shit and rub up on shit your thinking to yourself why would anytthing do that doenst it know. but you only know because you see it and automatically assume you undestand without the idea or thought that it moight be different and not like the one you "saw" before. check this real quick and im out coz this is long enough: our world is full of beautiful, wonderfull things to be expeirenced and embraced. to qoute slug from atmosphere: "god loves ugly." this world just is what it is and you cant escape that fact. peace to everyone - mike biz. |
